CASA DEL NIDO OSPRE
Just as the local ospreys construct dynamic nests for their offspring, the creators of Casa Del Nido Ospre brought to life a home suited for gathering all of your loved ones. This incomparable home perched over the Sea of Cortez offers a 6 bedroom, 6.5 bath main house and a 2 bedroom, 1 bath guest house, in the notable community of Las Conchas. Rarely will you find an off-grid beachfront Mexican residence with this unique combination of architectural provenance, panoramic sea views, and exceptional privacy. Innovative light patterns are enhanced by the use of locally inspired arches that scatter the amazing costal sunlight throughout this nest inspired home. World renown, FAIA, Architect, Eddie Jones of the Jones Studio, joined forces with prominent local Architect and Contractor, Plinio Rivero, to create this priceless masterpiece. The finest finishes and luxury amenities have been selected to complement the visual beauty, and the result is an artfully serene, eminently livable environment. Everything your heart desires, and then some, including brick-by-brick built bóvedas, beautiful window mosaics, frameless windows, a roof-top nest sculpture, cast-in-place concrete ceilings, expansive oceanfront terraces, private beach stairs, dip pool, unsuspecting courtyard and elegant fountain, tequila bar, 2 car garage, and 8 more spaces all behind the gates. Puerto Penasco welcomes you to experience the ever-changing waves of the sea, historical architecture, familial warmth, fresh food, and festive holidays.

INNOVATIVE
LIGHT PATTERNS
The lure of reflected light from an unseen source beckons one to enter. In one corridor, the craftsmen turned to Orion, the great hunter in the stars for inspiration. The beautiful glass is back lit by the sun. Innovative light patterns are enhanced by the use of locally inspired arches that scatter the amazing costal sunlight throughout this nest inspired home.

STONE
BóVEDAS
The stone bóveda mimic an upside down nest. It was under the Architect's watchful eye that the 30-foot-diameter bóveda, or traditional domed brick ceiling, was constructed over the living room. It was built brick by brick, without strings or levels — purely by eyeball.

OSPREY
INSPIRATION
The highest point of the beach house roof there is a ragged sculpture of glass and steel respecting the indigenous image of a vernacular construction. This design decision was made to reflect the local bird life, the osprey. The lattice roof looks like the crisscross patterns of its nest. The three concrete spheres at the home’s entrance represent the osprey’s large eggs.

PANORAMIC
SEA VIEWS
Views take center stage and open to expansive oceanfront terraces. Enjoying a breathtaking sea view, the luxurious estate is nestled on 2940 sq.m of landscaped garden with a magnificent pool area.

ARCHITECTURAL PROVENANCE
The homeowners founded two premier Phoenix based companies — A commercial furniture design dealership, and a leading architecture and design firm. With their combined expertise, the home was sure to be something spectacular. They teamed up with highly regarded Puerto Peñasco Architect & Contractor, Plinio Rivero, for the project oversight, construction, and design collaboration.
